Fresh water supply district. Kaufman County Fresh Water Supply District No. 7-A, created by Kaufman County in 2019. District voters have authorized bonds for water, sewer, drainage and road improvements.
Wastewater. A 0.399 MGD treatment plant is built on Evans Road. Its TCEQ discharge permit, renewed in June 2026, allows expansion in phases to 1.68 MGD.
Water. Retail water from Talty Special Utility District under a 2024 service contract, with wholesale supply through the City of Crandall from the North Texas Municipal Water District. The plan includes a Talty SUD elevated storage tank.
Schools. Crandall ISD.
Location. About 1.5 miles south of I-20 and 3 miles north of US 175, roughly 23 miles southeast of downtown Dallas, with frontage on Evans Road (CR 260) and CR 261.
